Wrapping Up

I'm up and I should be asleep.  But alas, I am at work and therefore... awake. 

I'm happy to say that we are wrapping up our Christmas orders this weekend.  Tonight I finished the face on the doll we made for my friend and co-worker Susan.  The doll is for Susan's daughter Julie and was made in Julie's image wearing her team's ringette uniform.  She's gorgeous.  But you'll have to take my word for it until after the holidays, my little eager beavers, as I would hate to post her now and ruin the surprise for Susan and Julie.  Plus, her helmet isn't done yet.  But she is sweet and I'll share her with you after she's with her new friend Julie and I'm stuffed full of holiday treats.  I know, you have so much to look forward to - forget the turkey and presents and time with loved ones and general holiday cheer.  Insert me and my ramblings and then your holidays are complete. 

I enjoy pooking fun at myself.  Helps me avoid the much more pressing issues in my life.  Healthy.  I should know, I'm a health care professional.  I routinely poke fun at Sonia while we work, and she's super healthy.  And she doesn't even thank me!?  I'm feeling underappreciated.  And tired.  I lack the energy necessary for further self-directed humor so I guess I'll have to deal with some of my issues.  But being the procastinator that I am, I'll never find time.  I'm doomed. 

I'm going to go and make hot chocolate.  And spill it on myself.  That should satisfy all of my needs.
